I am new to this site, and have recently read For Young Women Only. I found it extremely helpful but I'm now curious as to whether it is appropriate for girls to read For Young Men Only (I was caught by the "only" in the title) to further understand teenage guys' perspectives on girls. What do you think?

It is completely appropriate to read for young men only if you are a girl. Go ahead. I am actually thinking about reading FYWO to see what girls think about us guys.

Oh go ahead and read it!!! I've read Every Young Man's Battle, Wild at Heart, FYMO, all books meant for guys. It really opened my eyes. And FYMO actually helped me understand myself, after all it is about girls! :P

I love reading the guy's books, I think I learn more from them than I sometimes learn from the ones for girls about guys! It's interesting to me to learn about what guys have a hard time with and learning how I can encourage them.

I read 'em both, so I say go for it if you haven't already!
